I had so much fun making this glitter thank you jar! What can I say, glitter just makes me happy!! I made one and when my kids saw it they all wanted to make one for their teachers at school. So we made 3 more! The best thing is that each jar takes less than 10 minutes to make. Here’s what you need…
Spray Tacky Glue
I cut out each half of the heart separately because the tape isn’t wide enough to cut a whole heart out. This was convenient because that way you can remove the tape starting from the middle seam, which makes it easier not to mess up the glitter. Stick the tape heart to the jar where you want it and add more tape as you would like (I put tape around the top of the jar on mine). After you get the jar taped just the way you like it, just spray the jar with the tacky glue. Glitter the jar and shake off the excess glitter, respray with tacky glue and glitter again. This way it has a much thicker layer of glitter and it seals on the glitter better. After this you just pull off the tape and you have an amazing glitter jar. We filled them with Hershey’s kisses and on Valentine’s Day my kids are giving them to their teachers.
