Hey all my blogging friends. I have been absent with my blog for awhile due to some family drama that needed my attention. I am so excited to jump back in and start getting my projects done again. I am so happy to be part of the Halloween craft lightening today. If you follow the button at the bottom of the post you will be led to a whole bunch of 15 minute Halloween ideas. I came up with these little Paper Plate Spiders. They take only a few minutes to make each one and they are super fun to decorate with for Halloween. I like using the paper plate because they are cheap and also they make the spiders stand up and look 3D. It is such a simple way to add a dramatic effect for your spiders. You could make up a whole bunch to decorate for a party or use them to make your front porch cute and scary for the kiddos. My kids made several of these themselves and they had a blast helping me. Here’s what your going to need..
Sturdy dinner sized paper plates
Black Spray Paint
First thing you need to do is print out the PDF at the bottom of this post and cut it out
Then lay the spider on the back of a paper plate and trace it
Then you need to cut out the spider and lay it out and spray paint it. I used Krylon black metallic which almost makes the spiders look at little hairy.
Then put glue dots or some kind of adhesive on each of the feet
And you are done! Now you can spook up your house or parties wherever you would like.
