I love banners and garlands. They are such a great way to fancy up a party without having to go all out on decorating. I saw a garland kind of like this but made with fabric. It was super cute, but I decided to try making one out of tulle. Tulle is convenient because you can buy spools of tulle, so you don’t have to cut it up into strips like you would with fabric. To make the tulle garland, I cut tulle to the desired length (twice the width you want your garland to be) and then I tied a knot in the middle of each tulle piece around a strand of ribbon. I added in some pink and gold ribbon in addition to the tulle to give it some shiny accents.
List of supplies:
Ribbon (to tie the tulle onto)
Ribbon (for accents)
This was a really fun project! My daughter was able to tie the tulle onto the ribbon. She LOVES to help with projects, plus it gave her practice making patterns so win-win!
